Pierre Ferrand 1840 Cognac
Created by Alexandre Gabriel of Cognac Ferrand in partnership with cocktail historian Dave Wondrich, this is a recreation of a forgotten style of Cognac that was originally used to create many of the classic cocktails in the 1800’s from the Sazerac, to the Julep, to the Crusta. Much artistry was required to recreate this style of spirit including using a wide range of Cognacs from 2 to 30 years old.
The Pierre Ferrand 1840 is truly unlike any Cognac produced for well over 100 years. Since phylloxera and the 1909 Cognac laws there have been no Cognacs like those which mid 1800’s bartenders such as Jerry Thomas used to create classic drinks. Recreate original drinks like the Sazerac and the Crusta with the Pierre Ferrand 1840 – a must stock for any classic cocktail bar.

Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao
Classic cocktails demand classic liqueurs and no liqueur is more classic than the Pierre Ferrand Dry Orange Curaca̧ o.
Crafted in consultation with cocktail historian David Wondrich and based on a 19th century recipe, it is a traditional French “triple sec” – three separate distillations of spices and the “sec” or bitter, peels of Curacao oranges blended with brandy and Ferrand Cognac. The result is a rich, complex and balanced liqueur that will bring new sophistication to your Punches, Slings, Fizzes and cocktails.
It is also delicious straight up or on ice.
